Moved by J.E.Lummus and seconded by E.F.Holmes that report of Auditor be receiv- ed and copied inthe minutes,end that the Rinds in the General Fund Rr& I. Fund ,Light* ing City Fund,be transfrred from one fund to another,so that all pay rolls can be paid to October 31st,1912, and that all bills can be paid to Auguet 3114,1912,said transfea to be made by the Audtor under direction of Council,and by and with the consent of the Mayor. Motion carried. The Mayor being present,stated that he was willing for the transfers to be made but thought that Council should work it out so that each fund should take care of itself in the future. Mr. W.F.Yarbrongh was present and asked for a permit to erect for Mr. Hickson, a pergola or building at the corner of B and 12th. Street,Mr. Yrbrough had a rough sketch of building whih was shown to Council,after which itwae moved by J.E.Lummus and seconded.by E.w.Holmes,that permit -be denied. Motion carried. An irregular bill from Dr. Van Dyke was presented to council,for treat- ment for horses in the Fire Department.The Chairman ordered bills referred back to Dr. Vandyke to be put in presentable form. Councilman Romfh brought to the attention of council the condition of Avenue G from Yet. to 7th. Street. Moved by E.C.Romfh and seconded by F.F.Holmes thet the committeeman on streets be instructed to investigate the condition and as soon as possible repair same. Motion carried. Councilman Romfh reported that he had investigated the stable of Frank, as per petition presented to council at last meetng, and that he thought it was an unsightly affair and personally thought it ought to be removed. But would ask for a little more time before ma ing his final decision. Moved by J.R.Lugemus and seconded by R.O.Watson that report of Commitee man on Sanitation be received, and that Ir. Romfh be allowed further time to con- sider sarue. Motion carried. Minutes of September 26th. were read. " October 3rd. " " October 7th. " " October 17th. " " October 21st. " The chair ordered that as there- were no errors or ommi:=lions, that the minutes would :stand as read. The clerk brought to the attention of council,that tickets would have to be printed for the Special Election to be held November 26th. Moved by J.E.Lummus and :seconded by J.A.Conrad that 1500 ballots be or- dered printed for the Special Election to be held November.26,1912• Motion carried. The clerk reported to council that the Board of Count;- Commissioners had rendered a bill against the city of t426.00 for the keep at the Poor Farip of one Alex Thompson for 913 days at $2.00 per day. Moved by ,; . E. Lumnis Hnd seconded by E. C. Romfh that the report of Clark of bill from the County Commissioners showing a bill of $426.00 against the City for k keep of Alex Thompson at the Poor Farm be accepted. Motion carried.
