Comnunicationda was read from l[r. P.M.Rand, Jr. in reference to a bill that had been presented him for use of the street roller in Edgewater. Mr. Rand th inks it an unjust bill and quotes as follows: " that although the man was working for four days, he seldomwent to work ntil after 9 A.V. and often quit early in the afternoons,and that the whole work could have been done in two days. I do not feel that the bill is a just one and would ask you to make such inveetigtions as are nee essary. Moved by M.J.McDonald and seconded by E.F.FIolmes that the communication be received and committeeman on streets be instructed to investigate reports of council. Motion carried.
