Resess meeting called to order by the chairman. Memb re prevent, F.(.Erfert,
R.O.Watson, J.R.Lummus, M.J.1dcDenald, C.Hefty.
The minutes of March llth were read. Also minutes of regular meetings
held on Marsh 21st, April 4th, April 1Lith, and May 2nd.
The chairman ordered as there was no errrs or ommiseions, thatthe minutes
stand as read.
Councilman Lunanus addressers sounoil in reference to the installing of
lights on t'ie boulevard from 12th to 14th street.
Moved by R.O.Watsun and seconded by J.A.Conrad that lights he ordered
placed on poles on boulevard between 12th !end 14th street. Motion ca.•ried.
Councilman Luiianus addressed council in reference to the purchasing of
two or three Dade county bunda,with the money that had accumulated in the sink
ing fund, stating thatit had always been the custom to keep this money working
and that he thought it was now possible to purahese two or three Dade county bonds,
as these were considered one of the safest investments.
'loved by P.O.11atson and sec nded by M.J.McDonald that the committeeman on
finance be instructed o purchase tw or three Dade county bonds , these bonds to
be purchased with funds in the sinking hind. Motion carried.
Moved by J.E.Lunmius and seconded by „R.O.Watson that council adjourn.
Motion carried.
