The December bills of the Miami Electric Light and Power Co. aggregating $72S.67 were not in hand in time to be voushered with the other bills, and should be paid at t'^is time by tr' nsferring a sufficient amount frirt the seneral Fund to do so. With reference to the balance in the Fine and Forfeiture Fund, before this r; ,old be applied in settlement of salaries of the Pollee Department, as provided by ordinance a non. iderable amount would ave to be returned by this fund to the General Find ,u reimburse the General Fund for amounts advanced from time to time to st, et Lhe Police Depa. taeni, pay rolls, and bills. The work not to be done until these a amounts are deposited with the elerk. Motion carried. The chair announced as the city was at present witho t an auditor,re would like the council to settle the matter at once, as to various discussions it was moved by It.O.Wataon and seconded by J.A.Conrad, that the salary of the Auditor be pissed at $100 per month, dating from the 1st day of January,1912.
