WHEREAS, The coot of Lateral Sewers on the Trunk Sewer 1Hyed on T ird
Street between Avenue "D" end Avenue "C" and on Avenue "C" between Teied Street
and Second St 'Bet and on Seeond Street between Avenue "C" and Biseeyned Drive WP8 en -
stalled by the Contractor constructing tne main sewer: And W11,EAS, it appearimthat
the cost of such lateral sewers has been based upon estimate made by tee Contractor
and not on tne actual cost that tne constructing or enid lateral eewere would be if
tee work had been done under a saner te contreet: And WHEREAS, tne cost asseseed appear
to eave been more tnan it should have been.
T7EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of tne City of Viami that tee City
Clerk and ColJector be authorized and directed to diseeunt all cleime against person
eeeessed for the leying and constructing of Lateral Sewers on Thiee Street between
Avenue "1)" end Avenue "C" end on Avenue "C" between Third Street an Second Street end
on Second Street eetween Avenue "C" and Bieceyne Delve Twenty Five percent (25;); pro-
vided that prompt settlement ia made oy euee pereone who 8 e lot owncre Fo asses ed
for tne aforemnid lateral sewers.
