The ordinance was given its third end final reading and was read in full as follows; - AN ODRINANCr', of the City Council of the City Miami creating the office of Food Inspector of said City, prescribi g the duties thereof: Provmding for tne inspecting and testing of milk and regulating the sale thereof in said City of Miami; and pres- cribing penalties for the violation of its provisions. IT CRUISED by the City Council of the City of Miami: f 6 Section .1: That from and after the passage of this ordinance, its approval and publica- tion as required by law, there shall be and is hereby created an office to be known as that of Food Inspector of the City of 'diami, the duties and powers of said office shall be as prescribed by the City Council of said City. Section 10: If at any time in tne opinion of the Cetpitteeman of the City Council on :sanitation the Food Tnspector shall require or does require assistance in the per orma— nce of his duties sere Committeeman is nereby empowered to appoint such suitable person to aseist, or in case of disability, to take the pale of the Food Inspector, welch sail appointment or appointments shall be sub.+ect to the approval of the City Council et its next regular meeting or some sib: squent meeting thereafter.
