City of Miami This is to certify that a meeting of the City Executive Committee of tne City of Miami, held at the office of the Committee in the City of Miami, on Thursday the 3rd, day of June. Upon inspection I found the premeiie of the County Jail in a moat unsanitary condition, which under my direction and supervision has been put in a thorough good condition. I wish to again cell your attention to the unsanitary condition of Avenue "D" between 12th, end 13th, Streete, I am satisfied that it will be impossible for thi: place to be kept senitery as long as the teams are allowed to stand along the gutters there all day and most of the night of each day. I am pleased to report that quite a lot of cleaning up of vacant lots and unsightly premasis have been done during this month. The scavenger or dry closet work is not quite up to the etl.ndard, bit I r-m doing all in my power to bring it up.
