Dear Sir;- I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your favor of the 19th, enolos.ing a copy of the resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami on September 17th, 1908,"instructing the City Clerk to write to J.''.Caleiwell E;aq,, of New York 'ity to advise the City Council on what terms he will furnish the City with copy of the original opinion rendered by him on the legality of the ,t1D0.00O. , Municipal Bond issue of tne City of Mi, Ti, said bonds bearing date 4uly 2nd ,190E and payable July 2nd, 1936; also his opinion as to tee legality Ft the present time on the remaining ;'70,000., of the said bends still unsold, and now held oy the Fiat National, Lank of Miami , Florida, subject to the. or- ders of the City Government of the City of Miami". Edmund Seymmede Company and this opinion was rendered to that first: My professional relations to_ U&I this firm would not permit me to give out a copy of this opinion to any one with out tne consect of !ay client: Besides, this opinion, relating, as it does, onlyt to the t30,000., of bonds heretofore delivered would not be available on a sale of the remaining e70,000.90.
