that she stopped commu-

they paid her for work,

fled against her in any
way.
Denise Gunn, admitted
to the Bar in 1997, was
disbarred on May 23.

criminal court records
from Collier County in-
dicate she's alive.
Collier County online
court records say that on
May 24, the day after
"Denise A. Gunn" was
disbarred, a "Denise Al-
icia Gunn" signed a de-
ferred prosecution agree-
ment after being charged
with possession of a con-
trolled substance. The
arrest report says that On
Feb. 29, police found 4.1
grams of methampheta-
mine in a sandwich bag in
Gunn's car after stopping
her for making a right
turn out of the left cum
lane on leaving a store.
Still, Gunn ghosted
clients and the Florida
Bar,
Without Gunn's testi-
mony or participation in
any way, the report by
Judge D. Ryan Felix, the
referee in Gunn's dis-
ciplinary case, echoes the
Bar complaints from
grievances filed by Trevor
Stanislaus and Xavier
Gressett.
Stanislaus said he
signed a retainer agree-
ment and paid Gunn
$1,500 of a $4,000 flat
fee fora matter in May
2021. Gunn spent May
and June ignoring Stanis-
taus' phone calls, so, on
July 4, 2021, Stanislaus
asked Gunn to give him a
refund if she couldn't
handle the case. Gunn
answered that she was
working on his petition.
He had also requested a
copy of the retainer agree-
ment, which she said was
in the mail.
Stanislaus didn't get the
petition, the agreement or
a refund, despite repeated
requests, but did get a
teat on Aug. 17, 2021,
saying his petition was
ready. That was the last
Stanislaus heard from
Gunn.
Two months later,
Gressett signed a retainer
agreement with Gunn and
paid her $3,500. Gunn
fried a notice of appear-
ance on Nov. 1, 2021, and
attended a hearing on Jan.
5, 2022. Gressett finished
paying the $3,500 in April
2022, and Gunn "took no
further action on his be-
half, yet she failed to
withdraw from his case-"

Cohen, the report said,

officers were able to get her

hooked one of the officers'

That failed, and the two
officers got Cohen into the
cruiser "at which point she

gabbed it with her toes,"
the report described. "Co-

INTER MIAMI
a less rosy perspective.
"Obviously we are not
too happy that they
scored three goals on us
at home," Cremaschi
said. "We need to have
more passion and desire
to win, more so at home
than anywhere else.
"We know we have a
lot of things to work on,
and that is what we are
going to do."
"The idea was to pick
up nine points and we
finished with four," Cre-
maschi later added.
"There area lot of things
to improve upon."
St. Louis City SC took
three separate leads in
the match, with mid-
fielder Chris Durkin and
former Inter Miami at-
tacker Indiana Vassilev
scoring in the first half
before Suarez scored an
own goal in the second.
But Martino's team
refused to surrender.
Messi scored the first
equalizer in the 259 min-
ute, pulling off his drib-
bling magic before find-
ing Alba out wide on the
lea. Alba returned the
favor with a low ball to an
marked Messi, who
curled a splendid shot
inside of the left post.
The goal was Messi's
league -leading 129 of the
MIS season and 14a
across all competitions.
"He along with )ordi
were practicably respon-
sible for participating in
all of our attacks in to-
day's game," Martino
said. "He was involved in
our finishing, he was
involved in our chance
creation, and he insisted
during the entire 90 min-
utes, even in the final
moments."
Alba provided the as-
sist on Inter Miami's
second goal two minutes
into first-half stoppage
time, delivering a cross
on the ground from the
left to the far post that
found Suarez for a tight -
angled finish.
The Spanish fullback
then went from creator to
scorer, authoring a com-
posed tying finish in the
859 minute that saved
Inter Miami from a sec-
ond straight defeat.
Alba raced to a ball in
behind St. Louis City's
defense on the left and
calmly scored, though his
goal was initially called
back for offside. But the
call was overturned by
video review,
"Unfortunately, the
goal did not serve for
anything," Alba said.
"We wanted the three
points, which is what
honestly matters to me,
but we have to move
forward and improve on
things."
Defender Marcelo
Weigand[ almost gave
Inter Miami a dramatic
go-ahead tally four min-
utes later with a stinging
shot from the right, but
St. Louis City SC goal-
keeper Roman Burki
made an acrobatic save
to keep the game level.
