NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency
("CRA") will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. or anytime thereafter at the Miami
Entertainment Complex located at 50 NW 14th St Miami, Florida 33136.
The Board will consider the award of grant funds to St. Johns CDC, a legal non-profit entity authorized to transact
business/render services in the State of Florida, to underwrite a portion of the costs associated with the
development of affordable housing units in the Omni CRA.
In accordance with the Board's 2010 Redevelopment Plan ("Plan") and Florida Statutes 163, the Board will
consider the funding, in an amount of $564,000.00 to underwrite the costs associated with the housing project.
This action is being considered pursuant to Sections 18-85 (a) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida as
amended ("Code"). The recommendation and findings to be considered in this matter are set forth in the
proposed resolution and in Code Sections 18-85 (a), which are deemed to be incorporated by reference herein,
and are available as with the scheduled CRA Board meeting of Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. or anytime
thereafter at the Miami Entertainment Complex located at 50 NW 14th St Miami, Florida 33136.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the Board with respect to any matter considered at this
meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and
evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
