Notice is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of Sections 163.346 and 163.355, Florida
Statutes, as amended, that the Miami City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider
matters pertaining to the finding of necessity study, declaring areas in the area of the City of Miami
("City") known as Allapattah to be slum and blighted, and declaring the need to establish the
Allapattah Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency ("Allapattah CRA")
within those areas pursuant to the Florida Community Redevelopment Act of 1969, as it is
presently contained in Part III, Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, as amended (the "Act").
The hearing will be held on or about April 10, 2025. In City Hall Chambers at 3500 Pan American
Drive, Miami Florida 33133 on or after 9:00 am, when the City Commissioners meet for a regular
scheduled City Commission meeting.
This notice is being provided to you as a taxing authority of real property within the proposed
redevelopment are and this notice is required pursuant to the aforementioned sections of the Act.
The general boundaries of the proposed Allapattah CRA area are as follows:
The proposed Allapattah CRA Finding ofNecessity area is strategically located in Miami, bounded
by SR 112/Airport Expressway to the north, I-95 and NW 7th Avenue to the east, the Miami River
to the south, and NW 19th Avenue to the west.
