critical tools used by Fire -Rescue to locate hot spots, assist in search and rescue operations,
data collection, damage inspection and the mapping and modeling of rescue operation sites.
The purchase and use of drones is heavily regulated. As such, the City must purchase drones
manufactured by companies approved by the United States Department of Defense ("DOD")
and the state of Florida. Wingtra Corp. is on the approved list of drone manufacturers for both
entities.
Wingtra Corp. is the sole source manufacturer of the WingtraOne Drones and Lengemann is
Wingtra Corp.'s sole distributor for the State of Florida.
The State of Florida had a "buy back" program for non -approved manufactures through which
Fire -Rescue sold fifteen (15) drones.
