As someone who has witnessed the evolution of this neighborhood, and having worked in the adjacent
Wynwood area for over a decade, I've seen firsthand what "development" often means: more towering
concrete structures designed to accommodate more people. There's no shortage of hotels or Airbnb-
friendly apartment complexes in the area, yet we continue to face increased traffic congestion,

on our neighborhood's density and stretching the resources that should be used to support our

Street Neighborhood Integrity: Baylofts is situated in a highly residential area. A hotel will disrupt the family -
friendly nature of our street and undermine the sense of "home" we cherish. Setback: The proposed
construction lacks a setback, placing a wall directly against my balcony and others on the east side.
This will severely impact our living standards, property values, and fairness —especially when Baylofts
adhered to setbacks. Safety & Congestion: Increased transient traffic will worsen street congestion,
posing safety risks for children, pets, and elderly residents in our community. This project prioritizes
corporate interests over the well-being of Miami residents. I respectfully ask you to either haft this

their benefits. The mitigation replacement requirements at 2" or even 4" DBH wilt not realize the same
