There were over thirty (30) local, State and Federal agencies who participated via EXPO tabletop displays and individual matchmaking sessions. The Summit featured an AMAZON Business Lounge where executives from Amazon were present to discuss opportunities with the Amazon Small Business Program, Black Business Accelerator and Hispanic Business Accelerator Programs. The Summit was developed to provide valuable exposure among local, small and minority businesses, government agencies and large corporations, to create a one on one experience for these businesses that focuses on: a) how to do business with the City and other government agencies; b) resources available to local, small and minority businesses; c) contracting opportunities; d) matchmaking (one on one matchmaking) portion where these business owners will have the opportunity to attend meetings with government agencies, and large prime contractors to help build relationships towards success; and e) an Expo portion offered to key resource partners.
