Item CA.7 on the November 21, 2024 City Commission Meeting Agenda,
proposes to accept four (4) right-of-way deeds of dedication for right-of-way purposes.
The Legislation is being substituted to include a fifth (5th) deed for the property located at
2871 Oak Avenue, Miami, Florida. Attached are the substituted Legislation, Exhibit A,
and Backup for this Item.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING FIVE (5) RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS OF DEDICATION AS
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A" ("DEEDS"), ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED,
FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
RECORDATION OF THE DEEDS IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE
COUNTY, FLORIDA; FURTHER DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RETAIN A
COPY OF THE DEEDS.
WHEREAS the City of Miami's ("City") Department of Resilience and Public Works
("Department") recommends the acceptance of five (5) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication
("Deeds") for the properties described in "Exhibit A," attached and incorporated; and
WHEREAS the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Deeds
pursuant to Section 54-58 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized' and directed to accept the Deeds for the
properties described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated, for right-of-way purposes.
Section 3. The City Commission authorizes' the recordation of the Deeds in the Public
Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to retain copies of the Deeds.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS:
1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all legal requirements that may be
imposed, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code
provisions.
