As a resident in Edgewater I oppose the elimination of the warrant process as it opens the door to unchecked decision making and potential misuse of public spaces. The public's input should be required as we Live with the Long term implications for such decisions As an Edgewater resident Living in Aria on the Bay (right next to the park) for many years now, I am deeply troubled by the proposal to change Margaret Pace Park and reduce a green space. The green space is the most special part of Living in this area - there are other places where ppL can play volleyball or basketball or have office space, but there are very Limited places in Miami with Large green space that ppl can enjoy. Please don't destroy our park! We should maintain the park better and invest in a better irrigation, to maintain the grass and trees but I am against reducing green space to add more concrete. As an Edgewater resident, I am very concerned about the prospects of PZ4 allowing our cherished public parks to be modified by right, without public input. Public input and oversight is crucial to good city governance and it is very important to me as a voter that PZ4 does not pass.
