A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WAIVING THE TWO (2)
WEEK TEMPORARY EVENT LIMITATION PER YEAR FOR THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 24 SOUTHWEST 4 STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA PURSUANT TO
CHAPTER 62/ARTICLE XIII/DIVISION 1/SECTION 62-521(B)(4) OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, TITLED "PLANNING AND
ZONING/PLANNING AND ZONING APPROVAL FOR TEMPORARY USES AND
OCCUPANCIES; PERMIT REQUIRED/TEMPORARY EVENT
PERMITS/TEMPORARY EVENTS IN GENERAL", TO ALLOW FOR THE
BLOOM PRESENTS EVENTS TO BE HELD THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2024.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 62-521 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as
amended ("City Code"), titled "Temporary Events in General," temporary events are limited to
no more than two (2) events per year per property for a maximum of two (2) weeks per permit;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 62-521(b)(4) of the City Code, the number of events
can be waived upon affirmative vote of the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, The Bloom Presents is an immersive art experience that will have curated
art from the most influential artist throughout the globe; and
WHEREAS, the Lessee at the property located at 24 Southwest 4 Street, Miami, Florida
("Event Site") wishes to host "The Bloom Presents" ("Event") to provide a cultural experience
and economic boost for the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, The Bloom Presents has created pop-up structures in order to bring this
immersive experience to Miami, both for residents as well as visitors; and
WHEREAS, the Event Site will be holding the Event and comply with all City
requirements including, but not limited to, building, zoning and noise codes and the Event
through December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, The Bloom Presents and the Lessee will only proceed so long as they have
the consent of the Property Owner; and
WHEREAS, the Event at the Event Site will be beneficial to the City's residents and
visitors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 62-521(b)(4) of the City Code, titled "Temporary Events
in General," the two (2) temporary event per year per property limitation is hereby waived to
allow the Event at the Event Site through December 31, 2024.
Section 3. This Resolution does not waive any other requirements of the City Code,
including but not limited to, noise restrictions, applicable fees, inspections, and permits.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
