HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-24-0399City of Miami Resolution R-24-0399 Legislation City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 16705 Final Action Date: 10/15/2024 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ACCEPTING THE PLAT TITLED "ALTO TOWER SUBDIVISION," A REPLAT IN THE CITY OF MIAMI OF THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN ATTACHMENT "1," SUBJECT TO SATISFACTION OF ALL CONDITIONS REQUIRED BY THE PLAT AND STREET COMMITTEE AS SET FORTH IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, AND THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN SECTION 55- 8 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED; ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON THE PLAT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT AND CAUSE THE RECORDATION OF THE PLAT IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the Plat and Street Committee ("PSC"), established pursuant to Chapter 55 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("City Code"), at its meeting of October 7, 2021, and subsequent meetings of June 7, 2022 and December 7, 2023, reviewed the proposed plat titled "ALTO TOWER SUBDIVISION" and determined that all technical requirements have been met; and WHEREAS, the PSC recommends the acceptance of the plat; and WHEREAS, The Miami Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board at its meeting on November 2, 2022, adopted Resolution No. PZAB-R-22-055 recommending approval with conditions of the vacation and closure of a portion of a platted private alley generally located south of Northwest 38 Street, west of Northwest 22 Court, north of Northwest 36 Street, and east of Northwest 23 Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Miami City Commission, at its meeting on January 12, 2023 adopted Resolution No. R-23-0037 closing and vacating of a portion of a platted private alley generally located south of Northwest 38 Street, west of Northwest 22 Court, north of Northwest 36 Street, and east of Northwest 23 Avenue; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The plat titled "ALTO TOWER SUBDIVISION," a replat and a subdivision of the property described in Attachment "1," which plat by reference, in substantially the attached form and subject to satisfaction of all conditions required by the PSC as set forth as Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated, and the provisions contained in Section 55-8 of the City Code, is accepted. The dedications shown on the plat together with the dedications to the perpetual use of the public of all existing and future planting, trees, and shrubbery on said dedications are hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami. Section 4. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized' and directed to execute the plat and cause the same to be recorded in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida. Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
