Total reconstruction of the intersecting no outlet roadways on north and south side of SW 27 Street from SW 27th Court to
SW 31st Place, including storm water drainage improvements, new and safer ADA compliant sidewalk and crosswalks.
Partnering with Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department, water main upgrades will be included as a component.
The streets will also be widened to reduce potential vehicular traffic and pedestrian safety conflicts/hazards in the existing
very narrow streets. This project will increase flood protection and provide safe routes to schools and parks for area
residents.

[The target population is the neighborhood of Golden Pines in Miami with and estimated population of 15,160.

Improve pedestrian and vehicular safety, protect home and property from the perils of flood, improve the quality of life for
the residents. This will be measured by comparing the number of vehicular and pedestrian accidents pre to post
construction; comparing the number of flooding complaints before and after the project using sensors and on -site
inspections.

rFailure to meet deliverables or performance measures should subject the City to an audit and depending on the results
