Hannon City Clerk Date: February 24, 2024 Subject: Code Enforcement Board References: Agenda for March 14, 2024 Enclosures: List of members The Code Enforcement Board was created to issue orders having the force of law commanding whatever steps are necessary to bring a Code violation into compliance. Florida Statutes Section 162.05(2) requires members of the Code Enforcement Board to be residents of the City of Miami. City Code Section 2-812 states that whenever possible, the board is to consist of an architect, a businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, a subcontractor, and a realtor. Four (4) appointments are required at this time: • Commission -At -Large has four (4) nominations for seats currently held by: 1. Martin Zilber, alternate at -large incumbent, whose term expired on September 15, 2023.1' 2 2. Vacant. (Fernando Acosta resigned effective December 8, 2023)3 3. Vacant. (Alexander Bucelo resigned effective February 5, 2024) 4. Vacant, Alternate At -Large. (Nilda Irene Cue resigned effective February 14, 2024) For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the March 14, 2024, Commission Agenda.
