Subject: Bayfront Park Management Trust

The Bayfront Park Management Trust was created to direct, operate, manage and maintain all
aspects of Bayfront Park. The trust shall attract organized activities and functions to the park
consistent with this purpose.
Four (4) appointments are required at this time:
• Commissioner Damian Pardo has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:1' 2
1. Mercedes Anne Russ, incumbent, whose term expired on December 1, 2023.
• Commissioner Manolo Reyes has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:3
1. Javier Banos, incumbent, whose term expired on July 22, 2022.
• Commissioner Christine King has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:4
1. Marie Louissaint, incumbent, whose term expired on February 9, 2024.
• Commission -At -Large has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:
1. Alex Cardenas, incumbent, whose term expires on March 9, 2024, has been a member
since October 13, 2011, and will require a term waiver by a unanimous (5/5) vote of the
Commission.
For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said trust. By copy of
this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the March 14, 2024,
Commission Agenda.
