B. Wright Leadership Academy, Inc. was established in 2013 as a 501 (c) (3) tax- exempt organization
that serves as a K-8 private school for disadvantaged youth with special needs in low socio-economic areas. Students
are engaged in an educational atmosphere that develops their social -emotional and cognitive abilities. Our
schools specialize in science, technology engineering, art, mathematics, and entrepreneurship.

Program/Project Title: BWLA Allstars
Project/Program Description: 305-416-1005
engineering, mathematics as a vehicle to promote financial stability and exposure to digital currency. Students and their
parents will participate in workshops on financial literacy, college and career readiness, and parent involvement.
These workshops are designed to provide resources that will enable students and their parents to become financially secured.

Please describe how this program/project and funding will alleviate poverty within the City of
Miami?
The BWLA Allstars program will alleviate poverty by providing a full-time position, teacher professional development, and a student behavioral sensitivity counseling program.
The Program is designed to assist in creating a culture of financial freedom. By exposing students and parents to options of finance management. This will empower them to take
responsibility and make the necessary changes to alleviate an impoverished mindset It is the BWLA Allstars program goal to be intentional in assuring the families served will be impacted by this initiative
IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE:
Describe overall expected outcomes and performance measures for this project/program:
It is our goal for 80% of the participates enrolled will increase their knowledge in financial literacy and gain access to wealth to reverse poverty. Participant attendance will
be measured as they are encouraged to attend workshops. A pre and post -assessments will be administered to determine what information participates are lacking. A survey
will be distributed to provide feedback on the quality of services provided. As the summation, quantitative and qualitative data analysis will be submitted as supporting documents to the City of Miami .

Explain how the City of Miami Anti -Poverty funding will be utilized:
The funds will be used to provide (1) a full-time position and supplemental income for 6 paraprofessional to facilitate programming. The
facilitators will facilitate programming during the academic school year and the summer. The monies will
also account for 6 summer internships for students enrolled in the BWLA Allstars program.
