Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. am not sure who is the correct person to withdraw my Appeal of Tree Removal. Below is the Agenda Item which was deferred until September. As you know from the documents presented, the City removed 5 healthy trees from the Fair Isle Median, prior to the expiration of the posted Appeal period. Most of the neighbors were upset and flabbergasted. Below is the reference to the Appeal on the last Agenda. But over the last 7 months a group of abutters met with Raphael Gonzalez, and Commissioner Cova's staff to resolve the situation and replant the Median to its former glory. I would like to give special shoutout to Raphael Gonzalez of Public Works and Diego Abreu and Daniel Hernandez of Commissioner Cova's office for putting in many efforts and working with the constituents to come to a satisfactory solution. As the issue of the tree removal is now resolved, I would like to withdrawal the Appeal. It recommends denial ofAppeal of DPW removing trees before citizen appeal process occurred bt the Tree Commission. I have no idea who os recommending denial, given the Commission has not heard testimony . Could resolution be something like "A Resolve of City Commission Approving DPW to complete the cure to the premature tree removal by DPW by planting trees and restoring the Bayshore Lane Median pursuant to proposed DPW planting plan created by Public Works Right of Way Division Coordinator, Ralph Gonzalez, by June 2023." Also, how do I get Powerpoint on Commission screen (I will bring hardcopy) Hopefully, 2 of the neighbors who are attorneys ( one who came to our meeting), will be able to attend.
