What led us here?
► Living in Ailapattah, we have been impacted
by the garbage on the streets (directly &
indirectly).
► Community members don't necessarily know
how to report illegal dumping, potholes, broken
lights or preventive measures to keep blight at
bay.
► Residents & business owners feel it has
always been like this and nothing will change.

Phase 1 - Public Awareness
We will host an educational in -person event, to provide the
community with information on how to report issues like:
illegal dumping, littering, potholes etc, and take action
#FabulosoAiiapattah
The event w place on Saturday, June 25th, at TBD
(we hoping to do it at Juan Pablo Duarte Park)
Our Cohort will create posters and informational flyers to
share with community members on how they can report
illegal dumping or issues like potholes/ broken lights
In addition to sharing tips on how residents & businesses can
help clean up the neighborhood, we will at the same time
run a clean-up of Juan Pablo Duarte Park and its surrounding
areas.
Our goal is for this to be the first of many
#FabulosoAllapattah events in our neighborhood.

Commission and their staff.
Today we're asking the commissioners
to support our project, and share via
their (and the city's) social media
accounts.
in addition, we'll ask our District
Commissioners to participate in our

Phase 3 - Collaboration with more
of the City of Miami's Departments
In addition to the Commission, for this project we would love
to work with staff members in the city's Solid Waste, Code
Compliance and Police Departments.
Previous cohorts have had wonderful partnerships with
the Miami Police Department (#SaferTogetherAllapattah).
We would love to expand that collaboration to the city's
Solid Waste and Code Compliance departments.
We would love to have staff from each department to
attend our #FabulosoAllapattah event, so community
members can connect with them directly.
We would also like for the departments to help share
the #FabulosoAllapattah Social Media through their
accounts.
