North Miami Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) • North Miami Beach, FL
CRA Director August 2021 - Present
❖ Oversee the administration and daily operations of the North Miami Beach CRA.
❖ Initiate programs to stimulate sustainable commercial and industrial activities in the CRA including business recruitment and
retention, facilitated business start-ups, retail development, and real estate investment to improve the commercial tax base.
❖ Create, manage, balance and determine distribution of the CRA's $8.5MM annual budget. Prepare the CRA's Annual Report for
distribution to various county and state entities and publication.
❖ Conduct the strategic implementation of the City of North Miami Beach Redevelopment Plan by developing and implementing
programs, policies and strategies to carry out the CRA goals and objectives in compliance with State and local regulations.
❖ Oversee the administration of grant incentive programs to private developers and business owners including for facade,
renovation and real estate development.
❖ Manage the progress of infrastructure projects in the CRA District such as streetscape, beautification and construction to ensure
compliance with project timeline, schedules and budgets.
❖ Serve as the liaison to City officials, City Management, committees, other governmental agencies and members of the general
public on all matters related to the functions of the CRA.
❖ Ensure the CRA is in compliance the various required regulations of Miami -Dade County and Florida State.
❖ Conduct, prepare and present the agenda for the CRA Board Meeting. The agenda includes but is not limited to, contracts, request
for proposals (RFPs), resolutions and other administrative documents to implement CRA projects. Responsibility includes the
recording minutes of board meeting.
❖ Prepare and present CRA related items to the NMB City Commission for approval.

❖ Developed and implement CFNMD's strategic vision and mission as a Community Development Financial Institution.
