Notice is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Miami, Horida,
will consider the following ordinance(s) on second and final reading on
Thursday, April 27, 2023, commencing at 9:00 A.M., in the City Commission

ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING CHAPTER
38/ARTICLE I OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED,
TITLED "PARKS AND RECREATION/IN GENERAL," BY AMENDING SECTION
38-26, TITLED "NAMING OF OFFICER MANUEL GOMEZ MOUNTED PATROL
FACILITY AT LUMMUS PARK"; MORE SPECIFICALLY BY RENAMING
THE CITY OF MIAMI'S POLICE MOUNTED PATROL FACILITY LOCATED
AT 360 NW 3RD STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, THE "OFFICER MANUEL
GOMEZ MOUNTED FACILITY;" DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
TAKE ALL ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE
THE RENAMING OF SAID FACILITY.

18/ARTICLE III/SECTION 18-72 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA, ENTITLED "FINANCE/CITY OF MIAMI PROCUREMENT ORDINANCE/
APPLICATION AND EXCLUSIONS," BY AMENDING SECTION 18-72(B) TO
EXCLUDE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
PROCUREMENT ORDINANCE THE MIAMI FOR EVERYONE PROGRAM
AND RELATED ADVERTISING, PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN CONTRACTUAL
AND LEGAL LIMITATIONS FOR THIS EXEMPTION AS ARE PROVIDED
HEREIN; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING CHAPTER
39/ARTICLE II OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS
AMENDED, TITLED "PEDDLERS AND ITINERANT VENDORS/SIDEWALK
AND STREET VENDORS," TO PROVIDE FOR THE ALLOWANCE OF
STATIONARY VENDORS ONLY IN APPROVED VENDING DISTRICTS;
CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN IMMEDIATE
EFFECTIVE DATE.
Said proposed ordinance(s) may be inspected by the public at the Office of
the City Clerk, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133, Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or
http://miamifl.igm2.com five days before the date of the Commission Meeting.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be
heard with respect to the proposed ordinance(s). Should any person desire
to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter
to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence
upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).

Pursuant to Miami City Code Section 2-33(o), whenever a scheduled City
Commission meeting is cancelled or is not held due to a lack of a quorum
or other emergency, a special City Commission meeting will be automatically
scheduled for the Tuesday immediately following the cancelled meeting. In
the event of one of the aforementioned circumstances, the special meeting
would be held on May 2, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission
chambers located at Miami City Hat, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL
33133. All of the scheduled agenda items from that cancelled meeting
shall automatically be scheduled as an agenda item at the special City
Commission meeting. The City Clerk shall notify the public of the special
meeting that is to take place by placing a notice of the special City
Commission meeting at the entrance of City Hall and the City's main
adminigtrative building, placing a notice on the City's website, and, if
feasible, placing an ad in a newspaper of general circulation before the
special meeting on the immediately following Tuesday. There shall be no
additional notice by publication required for any such scheduled agenda
item that is moved to the special City Commission meeting.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons
needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may
contact the Office of the City Clerk at (305) 250-5361 (Voice) no later than
