We live in Kumquat
since 2013, the amount
of traffic due to
shortcuts to avoid
traffic and the school
nearby, makes it
impossible to walk
safely, there are no
sidewalks as you know,
in the Grove. Adding
more density would
make it worse; we
don't want medium
density or any kind; it
would be a traffic
nightmare for those
living in Kumquat.
The boat ramp is
needed! I am not a
"local", but we do
enjoy boating in
Biscayne Bay- these
ramps not only provide
access to locals, but it
provides access for
visitors from other
areas to come to
Miami/Dade boat, fish
and spend money in
your community -
Recreational Boating -
provides a $23.3 Billion
impact to Florida -
Florida has over ONE
MILLION REGISTERED
BOATS(FWC)-
To all county
commissioners, we
south Florida especially
Miami Dade County tax
payers are in need of
more boat ramps,
Miami Dade and city of
Miami citizens
dependents on this
boat ramps as part of
our family time .. Is
ridiculous that we have
to wait hrs in line to at
many times have to
turn back home do to
overcrowded ramps
and not enough parking
. We pay very high
taxes to have to deal
with this matter, is
embarrassing . So I
make a call to all
commissioners to do
something about this
please . As our elected
officials is your duty to
serve the people that
help you there. Thank
you .
