and coordination of social services and quality control services to low income and at risk

Program/Project Title: API Senior Meals
Project/Program Description: Sunshine For All, Inc. would like to continue to administer
the API Seniors meals progra to homebound residents since we understand the need
that exists locally as well as nationally for the provision of nutritionally balanced meals.
Lunches will be provided to elderly Monday thru Friday.
Program Start Date: 10/1/2022 Program End Date: 9/30/2023
Please describe how this program/project and funding will alleviate poverty within the City of
Miami?
Food insecurity within the low income / elderly population is among the highest in the country as well as in Florida.
By providing this service of Home Delivered Meals to these homebound residents, will help them with their
food insecurity and assure that these individuals with not go hungry inspite of their economic and medical condition.
IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE:
Describe overall expected outcomes and performance measures for this project/program:
To provide daily home delivered meals to 250 Homebound Elderly Residents from the
City of Miami District 4. Sunshine For All, Inc. will submit the API Monthly Report which covers
all aspects of the program (i.e. funding amount, race & Ethnicity Data, Progress Report and # of Meals.
