Revocable License Agreement 4/5ths Bid Waiver (Child Care) REFERENCES: N/A ENCLOSURES: N/A Allapattah Community Action, Inc. has been utilizing the City -owned real property located at 1836 NW 22 Place, Miami, Florida at Curtis Park under the existing Revocable License Agreement since 2002 for the purpose of providing low-cost daycare service to qualifying area residents, and the general public. The existing agreement between the City and Allapattah Community Action, Inc. has expired and is on a month -to -month basis. Accordingly, the City is desirous of entering into a new agreement to have the Provider continue providing the above -referenced public services. Please confirm your recommendation that competitive negotiation methods and procedures are not practicable or advantageous to the City pursuant to the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended due to the unique expertise and services provided by Allapattah Community Action, Inc. in connection with their use of the Property. In light of the above, DREAM respectfully requests approval of a waiver of the formal requirements of competitive sealed bidding methods as not being practicable or advantageous to the City as set forth in Section 18-85(a) of the City Code or Ordinances, as amended, the affirmation of these written findings, and recommendation to the City Commission for ratification by a four -fifths affirmative vote.
