A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING TERMINATION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY")
PILOT PROGRAM FOR SHARED MOTORIZED SCOOTER SERVICES, WITH THREE
(3) DAYS WRITTEN NOTICE, UNTIL SUCH TIME AS A FINAL DETERMINATION IS
MADE WITH RESPECT TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ("RFP") NO. 1170387 FOR
THE PROVISION OF SAID SERVICES, FOR THE CITY'S DEPARTMENT OF
RESILIENCE AND PUBLIC WORKS ("RPW'); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY, IN FORMS ACCEPTABLE
TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, AND AS MAY BE DEEMED NECESSARY FOR SAID
PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, final determination with respect to the City of Miami ("City") Request for
Proposals ("RFP") No. 1170387 for the provision of Shared Motorized Scooter Services for the
City's Department of Resilience and Public Works ("RPW') remains pending; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to terminate the City's pilot program for said
services, with three (3) days written notice, until such time as said final determination is made
with respect to the referenced RFP;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Termination of the City's Pilot Program for Shared Motorized Scooter
Services, with three (3) days written notice, until such time as a final determination is made with
respect to RFP No. 1170387 for the provision of said services, for RPW, is hereby approved
and authorized.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized' to execute any and all documents, in forms
acceptable to the City Attorney, and as may be deemed necessary for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all legal requirements that may be
imposed, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code
provisions.
