A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPOINTING A CERTAIN
INDIVIDUAL AS A MEMBER OF THE PLANNING, ZONING AND APPEALS BOARD FOR
A TERM AS DESIGNATED HEREIN.

Section 1. The individuals listed above are hereby appointed as members of the Planning,
Zoning and Appeals Board, each to serve for a term ending as indicated above, or until the
nominating Commissioner leaves office, whichever occurs first.'
Section 2. The employment prohibition contained in Section 2-884(e) of the Code of the
City of Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby waived by a four -fifths (4/5ths) vote of the
members of the City Commission, as said requirement relates to the appointment of
Mercedes Rodriguez as a member of the Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board.
1 Board appointments are administrative acts which do not require the Mayor's signature nor the City Attorney's
review and approval.
