Organization History and Background Information:
For 30 years, Rebuilding Together Miami -Dade (RTMD) has provided home repair and accessibility modification services to Miami -Dade County's most vulnerable homeowners. As the only local housing organization
addressing this particular need, we have developed the expertise, trust and infrastructure to tackle critical home repairs in order to secure safe and healthy housing for those most in need.
Our efforts preserve affordable homeownership, fight displacement, promote intergenerational wealth, stabilize communities, and ensure the safety and health of all residents. Since inception,
RTMD has rehabbed over 1,200 homes county -wide and has donated more than 10 million dollars in market value to the community at large.

Program/Project Title: Safe & Healthy Homes in Little Bahamas
Safe and healthy housing is the foundation, framework, and focus of all we do at RTMD. Our Critical Dome Repairs program addresses hazards affeeting
Project/Program Description:
the safety, health, and/or accessibility of homes owned by low-income homeowners. Utilizing a checklist with 25 health and safety priorities, we assess and ereate a scope of work unique to each home. All assessments and repairs are free ofcherge for homeowners.
Common home repairs and modifications include roof replacement, hurricane impact windows and doors,plumbing, and electrical repairs, drywall replacvnent, ADA ballroom modifications, and other repays as deemed necessary. This time around, we will also offer pruning services to
25 homes as part of our new Tree pruning Project. The program aims at assisting low-income households with hurricane preparedness and safety by thirming/puning weak tree limbs that could represent a heard to the house and its inhabitants during a natural disaster.

IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE:
Describe overall expected outcomes and performance measures for this project/program:
Upon completion of repairs and modifications made with API funding, each property touched by Rebuilding Together Miami -Dade will be safer, healthier, more affordable, and more attractive. We utilize a
25 point check -list developed to address the 8 principles of safe and healthy housing created by HUD. This list ensures each project is thoroughly assessed and that the provided repairs specifically
address the safety and health issues identified in each home. All the household served by our mg 'OD report lower utility bras, better overall hakh (mental, physical, and emotional) of it members, newfound safety and security, and a heightened pride for their neighborhood.

Explain how the City of Miami Anti -Poverty funding will be utilized:
Rebuilding Together Miami -Dade will utilize API funding to repair a mixture of owner -occupied homes, community -owned homes to be designated as affordable rental properties, and
community revitalization projects that will improve community morale and raise property values. Example include but are not limited to: critical safety/health repairs for
vulnerable homeowners; renovation of dilapidated homes in an effort to make them safe, healthy, and inhabitable for low-income renters; and exterior beautification projects.
