RE: Notice of Intent to Award —Rebuild Florida Mitigation General Infrastructure Program
Dear Lillian Blondet,
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) is pleased to inform you that the City of Miami
has been selected to receive Community Development Block Grant -Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds based
on the East Little Havana Flood Improvements Project application submitted for the Rebuild Florida
Mitigation General Infrastructure Program. We would like to thank the City of Miami for participating in
the application process. Please see below for specific information regarding the City of Miami's CDBG-
MIT project selection:
Award Amount: Up to $18,447,439
In the next few weeks, someone from my team will contact you to continue the grant process. Receipt
of CDBG-MIT funds is contingent upon entering into a subrecipient agreement with DEO. DEO will reach
out to your staff during the development of an acceptable scope of work and budget for East Little
Havana Flood Improvements Project subrecipient agreement. Once those are developed, DEO will send
the subrecipient agreement for review.
DEO looks forward to partnering with the City of Miami to serve Floridians in supporting their mitigation
