Intervened individually (one who has a "definite interest exceeding the general interest in

BRA committee for obtaining revisions from the developer, but the height, density, size, change to
the historic platting, and modern style of the current plans fall outside of the historic guidelines that
were established to protect Bayside and with which we all must comply. If you are against the
development as currently designed, it is extremely important that you come make yourself heard at
the public statements at 9am at City Hall. You can also provide an online comment (the link was
posted recently and I will post again). The developer's current plans have homes in excess of 40'
which are raised well beyond the current FEMA requirements, taking the homes to three stories.
While raising any future homes built on the Prescott lots may be required by flood code, going well
beyond the requirements to make homes that are three stories is incongruent with the homes in our
historic district and will dwarf all of the surrounding homes. Placing 5 homes in these two lots has
created a situation where the homes will not fit into the historic platting, facing inward rather than
across the street to great their neighbors on 72nd. This is a significant change to the "feel" of how
these homes will fit in with the neighborhood. Everyone in our neighborhood is entitled to their own
thoughts as to whether the current development plans should be approved. I post this not to sway
anyone's opinion, but to ensure anyone who opposes the development understands that they have
an ability to be heard. Please feel free to contact me directly on here or to email me
(jmohaff@gmail.com) if you have any questions as to how to speak your mind.
