HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-22-0209City of Miami Resolution R-22-0209 Legislation City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 11729 Final Action Date: 6/9/2022 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 MULTI -YEAR CAPITAL PLAN, AS AMENDED ("CAPITAL PLAN"), BY ADDING CAPITAL PROJECTS TO THE CAPITAL PLAN AS WELL AS RE -APPROPRIATING, DE -APPROPRIATING, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR THE EXISTING AND ADDED CAPITAL PROJECTS, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED; RATIFYING, APPROVING, AND CONFIRMING CERTAIN NECESSARY ACTIONS BY THE CITY MANAGER, DESIGNATED CITY OFFICIALS, AND DEPARTMENTS IN ORDER TO UPDATE THE RELEVANT FINANCIAL CONTROLS AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND FOR PROJECT CLOSE- OUTS, GRANTS, AND OTHER FUNDING SOURCES IN PROGRESS IN CONNECTION HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Commission hereby approves and authorizes1 the City Manager to amend the FY 2021-2022 Capital Plan, by adding capital projects to the FY 2021-2022 Capital Plan as well as re -appropriating, appropriating, and de -appropriating funding for the existing and added capital projects, all as set forth in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated. Section 3. Certain necessary actions by the City Manager, designated City officials, and departments made in order to update the City's relevant financial controls and computer systems for project close-outs, for grants, and for other funding sources in progress in connection herewith, are ratified, approved, and confirmed. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature by the Mayor.2 APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: ndez, ity ttor ey 7/2172022 1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all legal requirements that may be imposed, including but not limited to, those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code provisions. 2 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
