The program offers experiences that expose students to personal and professional development through activites and field trips. Program Start ©ate: 1/1/2022 Program End pate: 12/31/2022 Please describe how this program/project and funding will alleviate poverty within the City of Miami? FOCAL elleviates poverty within the City of Miami by providing free academie support services to student in a safe and inclusive environment. The progratxt's focus an college and career readiness increases the opportunity for students to become successful adults. FOCAL also provides employment opportunity to students to reduce financial hardships, IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE: Describe overall expected outcomes and performance measures for this project/program: The expected outcome is a 95% grade level promotion rate and an increase in performance measures by 10%, The program will maintain demographics along with pre -test and post-test trackers for each participant. Report cards, standarized test scores, & other acadennie tools are wed to develop individual plans for students. FOCAL will provide a closeout report indicating whether participants successfully met the reading goal for students to achieve an 85% proficiency rate or above on grade level, The physical education goal for students to complete a running test within the alloted time based on age and the 85% grade level promotion rate, along with an increase performance measures for students by 10%.
