Accept - Eight (8) Right -of -Way Deeds
Purpose of Item:
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept eight (8) Right -of -Way Deeds of
dedication, for right-of-way purposes, and approving and authorizing the recordation of
said deeds in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Background of Item:
The Department of Resilience and Public Works, through its continued efforts to secure
dedications of needed public right-of-way for widening of City streets, has received eight
(8) Right -of -Way Deeds of dedication proffered by various entities pursuant to Section
54-58 of the City Code.
The Department has reviewed these deeds and has received legal counsel concerning
said Resolution, and has determined that they are now in order for acceptance by the
City Commission.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING EIGHT (8) RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS OF DEDICATION (COLLECTIVELY,
"DEEDS"), AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED, FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES; APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF THE DEEDS IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA; FURTHER DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
RETAIN COPIES OF THE DEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami's ("City") Department of Resilience and Public Works
("Department") recommends the acceptance of eight (8) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication
(collectively, "Deeds"), for the properties described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated;
and
WHEREAS, the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Deeds
pursuant to Section 54-58 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized1 and directed to accept the Deeds for the
properties described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated, for right-of-way purposes.
Section 3. The City Commission authorizes' the recordation of the Deeds in the Public
Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to retain copies of the Deeds.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
