Please publish the attached Notice of Public Hearing for City of Miami Commission Resolution file ID number 10570
directing the City Manager to take any and all action(s) necessary to expeditiously request the Miami -Dade County
Public Works Department consider exempting proposed traffic flow modification from required adjacent
resident/property owner Publix Supermarket's concurrence for the City of Miami Office of Capital Improvements
Project No. 40-B203608. The resolution supports the design and construction of a speed hump on Southwest 23`d
Street between Southwest 27th Avenue and Southwest 29th Avenue.
The Public Hearing has been scheduled for September 13, 2021

ANY PERSON WHO RECEIVES COMPENSATION, REMUNERATION OR EXPENSES
FOR CONDUCTING LOBBYING ACTIVITIES IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A

CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 3500 PAN AMERICAN DRIVE, THE MIAMI CITY
COMMISSION WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEM RELATED TO THE REGULAR
AGENDA:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENTS, AFTER A
PUBLIC HEARING, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE
ANY AND ALL ACTION(S) NECESSARY TO EXPEDITIOUSLY REQUEST THE MIAMI-
DADE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT ("DTPW')
CONSIDER THE PROPOSED TRAFFIC FLOW MODIFICATIONS REGARDING THE
CITY OF MIAMI OFFICE OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 40-B203608
AND WAIVE THE REQUIRED RESIDENT CONCURRENCE AND EXEMPT PUBLIX
SUPERMARKET FROM THE IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNER,
APPROVAL PROCESS IN ORDER TO EXPEDITIOUSLY PROCEED WITH THE DESIGN
AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PARABOLIC SPEED HUMP LOCATED ON SOUTHWEST
23RD STREET BETWEEN SOUTHWEST 29TH AVENUE AND SOUTHWEST 27TH
AVENUE, OF DISTRICT 4; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO SEND A CERTIFIED
COPY OF THE THIS RESOLUTION TO THE DTPW DIRECTOR

The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at the
meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the City Commission in
which the City Commission may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any
decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting,
that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all
testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
