Enclosed you will fmd an ad for a notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Commission on July 22,
2021, for the purpose of granting to Peoples Gas System, a Division of Tampa Electric Company, a perpetual,
non-exclusive, ten (10) foot wide easement of approximately approximately seventeen thousand four hundred
sixty-seven (17,467) square feet of City -owned property located at 3385 Pan American Drive (Folio No. 01-
4122-002-0040) and 2640 South Bayshore Drive (Folio No. 01-4122-002-0011) Miami, Florida.
Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City Commission.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on Thursday,
July 22, 2021, at 9:00 A.M. at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida,
33133, for the purpose of granting the following:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, PURSUANT TO SECTION 29-B(C) OF
THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT ("EASEMENT"), IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, WITH PEOPLES GAS SYSTEM, A DIVISION OF
TAMPA ELECTRIC COMPANY, A FOR -PROFIT FLORIDA CORPORATION ("TECO"), FOR A
PERPETUAL, NON-EXCLUSIVE TEN (10) FOOT WIDE EASEMENT OF APPROXIMATELY
SEVENTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN (17,467) SQUARE FEET OF CITY
OF MIAMI ("CITY") OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3385 PAN AMERICAN DRIVE (FOLIO
NO. 01-4122-002-0040) AND 2640 SOUTH BAYSHORE DRIVE (FOLIO NO. 01-4122-002-
0011), MIAMI, FLORIDA, (COLLECTIVELY, "PROPERTY"), FOR TECO TO PLACE,
CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, MAINTAIN, REPAIR, AND REPLACE UNDERGROUND GAS LINE
AND ABOVEGROUND AND UNDERGROUND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO,
WITH THE FULL RIGHT OF INGRESS THERETO AND EGRESS THEREFROM, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE EASEMENT; FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS,
INCLUDING AMENDMENTS AND MODIFICATIONS TO SAID EASEMENT, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE SAID
EASEMENT.
Said proposed resolution may be inspected by the public at the Office of the City Clerk, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between the
hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or http://miamifl.iqm2.com five days before the date of the Commission
Meeting.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to the
proposed resolution. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with
respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal
may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
