Background of Item: The Department of Resilience and Public Works, through its continued efforts to secure dedications of needed public right-of-way for widening of City streets, has received four (4) Right -of -Way Deeds of dedication proffered by various entities pursuant to Section 54-58 of the City Code. The Department has reviewed these deeds and has received legal counsel concerning said Resolution, and has determined that they are now in order for acceptance by the City Commission. WHEREAS, the City of Miami's ("City") Department of Resilience and Public Works ("Department") recommends the acceptance of four (4) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication ("Deeds") for the properties described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated; and WHEREAS, the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Deeds pursuant to Section 54-58 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized' to accept the Deeds for the properties described in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, for highway purposes. Section 3. The City Commission authorizes' the recordation of the Deeds in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida. Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to retain copies of the Deeds that have been provided. Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
