The award ofthese contracts will establish epool Vf pre -qualified firms to provide state lobbying services, on an as needed basin, in accordance with the needs ofthe Office ofthe City Manager. Once the Pnn| is eotob|ished, as the need ohsos. the Chv, will select ofirm from the Pool for each transaction on the basis of their qualifications for the particular transaction. Establishment of pre - qualified pool provides the City with an expedited selection Vffirm(s) with the requisite expertise to provide state lobbying services for the City. On September 25, 2020, Procurement issued RFQ 1243393 under full and open competition, to obtain proposals from experienced and qualified firms for the provision ofstate lobbying services. OnApril 3O. 2020. eleven (11) proposals were received in response to the Solicitation; all were deemed to be responsive. The Review Team has completed the review and evaluation of the propnsa|s, following the guidelines published inthe RFC>. The evaluation criteria were given respective weights fora maximum of one hundred (100) points per Team member. The final scores are listed below in order of ranking. Upon selection into the Poo[ the City reserves the right through the City Manager ordesignee, to assign work on individual projects to any pre -qualified finn, as may be deemed in the Cih/'n nn|e and best interest. Proposers will be offered the Pool contract for signaturn, in accordance with the method of award specified within the Solicitation. Due diligence was oonduoted, including verifying corporate status. There were no adverse findings related hoany nfthe Proposers' responsibility.
