Projects include but are not limited to: Improve Charles Ave from Main Hwy to S Douglas Rd (B183612): Roadway reconstruction, removal of all existing covered trench, and new drainage system (inlet, MH and exfiltration trench). Construction from Dec 2020 to October 2021. Improve Roadway SW 24 Terrace from SW 27 Ave. to SW 32 Ave. (B50414): Construct and improve driveways, sidewalk, curbs, drainage system, milling and resurfacing, pavement marking, swale re -grading and sodding. Construction from January 2021 to November 2021 Shorecrest Drainage Improvements (B17365): To mitigate flood damage caused by severe rain events as well as King Tide (dry day flooding) benefiting residential, commercial, and public facilities. Project elements will include expanded stormwater infrastructure, backflow preventers, drainage infrastructure improvements, and landscape to allow water infiltration. Shorecrest Project 1 - NE 10th Avenue, NE 78th Street from NE 8th Court to NE 10th Avenue, and a portion of NE Little River Drive. Shorecrest Project 2 - NE 79th Street to the north, NE 8th CT to the west, Little River Canal to the south, and Biscayne Bay to the east. Construction November 2020 to May 2022. Immediate Flood Control City -Wide Project (B193800): Inspect and rehabilitate approx. 50 existing stormwater outfalls impacted by King Tide flooding and Install backflow prevention valves. Work may include replacement or lining of outfall pipes and upstream structures, as necessary to perform proper construction and installation of valves. Construction/Installation October 2020 to August 2021. NE 23rd Street Edgewater drainage improvements. GOB Total Funding Allocation Narrative/Description GOB total funding will be allocated only to construction activities.
