Since 1977, CCADM has has operated congregate meal sites with the purpose of improving the quality of life for the elderly, Is your program/project providing direct services to residents of the City of Miami? Program Start Date: 01/01/2020 Program End Date: 06/30/2020 Please describe how this program/project and funding will alleviate poverty within the City of Miami? The program will provide at least 2/3 of the daily I,JSDA recommended dietary intake for older adults over the age of 60 years, and the complete daily requirements for those seniors most at risk of malnutrition, By greatly reducing or eliminating the need for purchasing food, the program enables kiw-income seniors to spend their limited incontc on other expenses such as rent, medication etc. IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE: Describe overall expected outcomes and performance measures for this project/program: The expected outcomes of the program are for the seniors that we serve to continue living in their homes, and to either maintain or improve their nutrition status.
