RE: SUPPORT for D. Manatee Holdings, LLC
Exception and Warrant Application to Permit an Alcoholic Beverage Establishment & outdoor Dining at
169 East Flagler Street, Miami FL ("Application")
Dear Sirs -
Please accept this letter of support for the referenced Application submitted on May 3, 2019
by D. Manatee Holdings, LLC.
As residents, we are excited about the establishment of Downtown Miami's first full -
production Brewpub! Not only will this project provide a new place to frequent, meet, eat,
drink, and celebrate; it means activated storefronts, pedestrian traffic, local programming
by local operators, and — just as importantly — stable job growth and positive economic
development in an otherwise challenged retail environment.
The Flagler Business Improvement District has been working together with the Downtown
Neighbors Alliance (DNA) towards creating an active `Cafe District,' for the neighborhood;
this would be an exciting addition long in the making!
I believe this project will be a catalyst for growth within our community and ask that you
please support this project and expedite its' application as possible.
Thank you,

We are confident that this endeavor will not be a noise polluting source for the
neighborhood and that its operator will not only abide by the City of Miami Noise
Ordinance but will also prioritize the quality of life for residents in the neighborhood. I quote
"Our goal is to be DOWNTOWN MIAMI's BREWERY; maintaining our strong relationship with the
community is not only our commitment, but the very impetus for embarking on this adventure!"
I believe this project will be a catalyst for growth within our community and ask that you

I am pleased to support the exception and warrant application for D. Manatee Holdings, LLC submitted
on May 3, 2019.
As a resident of Downtown Miami, I welcome our first full -production Brewpub. Not only will this
project provide a new place for me to meet, eat, drink, and celebrate with friends and neighbors, it also
means activated storefronts, pedestrian traffic, and local programming by local operators. But
ultimately, as County Commissioner for the Central Business District, the positive economic
development and stable job growth that this project will bring are the most important factors to
consider especially in an otherwise challenged retail environment.
The Flagler Business Improvement District has been working together with the Downtown Neighbors
Alliance (DNA) towards creating an active 'Cafe District,' for the neighborhood; this would be an exciting
addition long in the making.
I believe this project will be a catalyst for growth within our community, and that it's something our
residents will enjoy; therefore, I ask for your support of this project and to expedite its' application.
