HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-20-0233City of Miami Resolution R-20-0233 Legislation City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 7662 Final Action Date: 7/23/2020 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ADDING CAPITAL PROJECTS TO THE CITY OF MIAMI'S ("CITY") FISCAL YEAR 2019-20 MULTI -YEAR CAPITAL PLAN ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2019 PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 19-0374 AND AS SUBSEQUENTLY AMENDED ON DECEMBER 12, 2019 PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 19- 0506, ON FEBRUARY 13, 2020 PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 20-0044, AND ON JUNE 11, 2020 PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 20-0167; REVISING CURRENT APPROPRIATIONS AMONG APPROVED PROJECTS; FURTHER DE -APPROPRIATING, APPROPRIATING, AND RE - APPROPRIATING FUNDING ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE EXISTING AND ADDED PROJECTS AS DETAILED IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED; RATIFYING, APPROVING, AND CONFIRMING CERTAIN NECESSARY ACTIONS BY THE CITY MANAGER AND DESIGNATED CITY DEPARTMENTS IN ORDER TO UPDATE THE RELEVANT FINANCIAL CONTROLS AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, FOR PROJECT CLOSE-OUTS, AND FOR GRANTS IN PROGRESS. WHEREAS, except for such changes as set forth herein, all previous appropriations remain authorized to continue as previously approved City of Miami ("City") capital projects (new, revised, and continued projects collectively, "Projects") according to the Fiscal Year 2019- 20 Multi -Year Capital Plan adopted on September 26, 2019 pursuant to Resolution No. 19-0374 and as subsequently amended on December 12, 2019 pursuant to Resolution No. 19-0506, on February 13, 2020 pursuant to Resolution No. 20-0044, and on June 11, 2020 pursuant to Resolution No. 20-0167 (collectively, "Plan"); and WHEREAS, in order to implement the Plan and the City's Fiscal Year 2019-20 Final Budget requirements authorized pursuant to Ordinance No. 13790 adopted September 26, 2019, as subsequently amended from time to time ("Final Budget"), the City Manager and certain designated City Departments continue to accept additional funding and to take necessary actions to update the City's relevant financial controls and computer systems for ongoing capital projects, for project close-outs, and for grants in progress; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to reprogram projects, approve additional projects, and approve additional appropriations, de -appropriations, and re -appropriations as detailed in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, for existing sources of revenues for Fiscal Year 2019-20 and to add to available balances in Capital Funds as set forth below: City of Miami Page 1 of 2 File ID: 7662 (Revision: A) Printed On: 5/5/2025 File ID: 7662 Enactment Number: R-20-0233 31000 - General Government Projects 32000 - Public Safety 33000 - Disaster Recovery 34000 - Public Facilities-CIP 35000 - Parks & Recreation 36000 - Streets & Sidewalks 37000 - Sanitary Sewers 38000 - Storm Sewers 39000 - Solid Waste-CIP 39900 - Mass Transit Previous Amount 15,528,352.23 32,873,071.97 1,690,984.43 108,176,850.11 114,890,197.71 95,398,191.04 6,359,979.33 22,375,789.39 4,580,106.87 4,373,998.21 Amendment Amount (234,506.32) 303,890.94 (1.00) (339,334.36) 389,701.19 (18,782.07) (100,968.38) Final Amount 15,293,845.91 33,176,962.91 1,690,984.43 108,176,849.11 114,550,863.35 95,787,892.23 6,359,979.33 22,357,007.32 4,479,138.49 4,373,998.21 $ 406,247,521.29 (0.00) $ 406,247,521.29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The herein project additions, appropriations, de -appropriations, and re - appropriations as detailed in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, are hereby made to the Plan for implementation of municipal capital improvements of the City for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2020. Section 3. Certain necessary actions by the City Manager and designated City Departments made in order to update the City's relevant financial controls and computer systems, for project close-outs, and for grants in progress in connection with the Plan and the Final Budget to implement the Projects are ratified, approved, and confirmed. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature by the Mayor.1 APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: "ndez, City ttor 1 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
