Please make arrangements to publish a Notice of Public Hearing for a resolution and permitting the
permanent restriction of vehicular access and to vacate two (2) roadway segments at NW 1st Court from
north of NW 13th Street to south of NW 14th Street and at NW 13th Street from east of NW 1st Court to
west of NW 1st Avenue for the construction of a pedestrian bridge as part of the I-395/SR 836/I-95
Design -Build Project subject to final approval of the Miami -Dade County Department of Transportation
and Public Works Traffic Division.
The Public Hearing has been scheduled for May 14, 2020.

ANY PERSON WHO RECEIVES COMPENSATION, REMUNERATION OR EXPENSES FOR
CONDUCTING LOBBYING ACTIVITIES IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A LOBBYIST WITH
THE CITY CLERK PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN LOBBYING ACTIVITIES BEFORE CITY STAFF,

AT THE SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA,
TO BE HELD ON THURSDAY, MAY 14, 2020 AT 9:00 A.M., IN ITS CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL,
3500 PAN AMERICAN DRIVE, THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WILL CONSIDER THE
FOLLOWING ITEM RELATED TO THE REGULAR AGENDA:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING AND PERMITTING THE
PERMANENT RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR ACCESS AND TO VACATE TWO ROADWAY
SEGMENTS AT NORTHWEST 1ST COURT FROM NORTH OF NORTHWEST 13TH STREET
TO SOUTH OF NORTHWEST 14TH STREET AND AT NORTHWEST 13TH STREET FROM
EAST OF NORTHWEST 1ST COURT TO WEST OF NORTHWEST 1ST AVENUE FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AS PART OF THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION'S I-395/SR836/I-95 DESIGN -BUILD PROJECT, SUBJECT TO
APPROVAL BY THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND
PUBLIC WORKS TRAFFIC DIVISION AND THE CITY OF MIAMI DEPARTMENTS OF
RESILIENCE AND PUBLIC WORKS, SOLID WASTE, FIRE -RESCUE, AND POLICE;
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROVIDE PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AT ALL TIMES;
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO TRANSMIT A COPY OF THE RESOLUTION TO THE
OFFICIALS NAMED HEREIN.
Copies of the proposed Resolution are available for review at the Resilience and Public Works
Department, Administration Division, located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 8th Floor, during regular
working hours. Phone 305-416-1200.
The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at the
meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the City Commission in which
the City Commission may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the
City Commission with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence
upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
