I , on 5/7/2020, City Clerk COVID- 19 RESPONSE The following data was reported daily at the City Manager's Request: Homeless Outreach (Green Shirts) average about 385 contacts per day during COVID-I9 Pandemic Promoted social distancing and provided information to homeless individuals Redirect individuals to hotel/motel program due to shelter restrictions Provide hand sanitizer, gloves, masks and other safety equipment Installed hand sanitizing stations throughout City of Miami Supplied 800 meals to children at Lotus House Shelter Submitted into the public record for item(s) SP.I, on 5/7/2020, City Clerk COVI D-19 TESTING 535 Total Tests - 363 tests administered by mobile teams, 18 Positive Cases, 158 Pending 30%-50% of unsheltered individuals have refused COVID-I9 testing All older adults 65+ willing to be tested have been tested The Homeless Trust requested for an additional 3,500 tests and staffing for mobile testing teams Submitted into the public record for item(s) SP. I , on 5/7/2020, City Clerk Data provided by the Homeless Trust COVI D-19 TESTING The Homeless Trust leveraged the testing capabilities of others, including: City of Miami Homebound Program Miami -Dade County drive-thru and walk-up sites Jackson Health Systems University of Miami Anywhere between 30-50% of unsheltered have refused the test. Tested every senior 65+, sheltered and unsheltered, willing to be tested Tests are now focused on persons under 65+ at high risk for severe illness due to underlying conditions as defined by the CDC Goal is to ultimately test every sheltered and unsheltered person On April 24th, through the Miami -Dade EOC, we submitted a Mission Request an additional 3,500 tests and staffing for mobile testing teams Working independently of the Mission Request to scale up testing teams further Submitted into the public record for item(s) SP.1, on 5/7/2020, City Clerk Data provided by the Homeless Trust
