RECOMMENDATION:
Based on the findings below, the Procurement Department ("Procurement") hereby
recommends the award of IFB No. 1064383 Meals for the Adult Care Food Program to
Primary Vendor: Randazzo Catering, Inc dba Creative Tastes Catering ("Creative Tastes")
and Secondary Vendor: Red Chair Catering LLC ("Red Chair") the lowest and second lowest
responsive and responsible Bidders who have met the requirements, per bid specifications.
The awarded vendors, contract terms, and amount are shown below.

$122,220.00 Annually (approximately $733,320 for all six (6) years
in the aggregate.
Initial term of two (2) years, with the option to renew for two (2)
additional two (2) year periods.

BACKGROUND:
Parks has identified a need for the provision of the City's meals for the Adult Care Food
Program, on an as needed basis. On June 14, 2019, the Department of Procurement
("Procurement") on behalf of Parks and Recreation ("Parks"), issued IFB No. 1064383, Meals
for the Adult Care Food Program. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was
advertised and issued online. On July 16, 2019, at the bid closing, two (2) bids were received.
Procurement is recommending award to Creative Tastes as the Primary Vendor and Red
Chair as the Secondary Vendor. Both Bidders which met all requirements, per the bid
specifications, and are the responsive and responsible Bidders. The estimated contract
amount is approximately $122,220.00 annually (approximately $733,320 for all six (6) years).
This contract award is needed in order for Parks to apply for the Florida Department of Elder
Affairs' ("State") Adult Care Food Program. This contract will only be used in conjunction with
the State's Adult Care Food Program. As set forth, this item will also take in consideration
permission to adopt the State's Adult Care Food Program for the City's Program, and use to
obtain a specialized revenue account, by approving this item, Commission authorizes the City
Manager to execute to finalize the State contract.
