Organization History and Background Information:
RER Consulting Enterprise is a consultancy firm that works with government and non government
entities. RER specializes in community relationship training and work groups. Our most prominent
training is the Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions with Police and Local inner City youth from high risk communities. RER
has been in existence since 2010 and has provided Teen Talk sessions with City of Miami, North Miami, and Miami Dade P.D. locally.

Program/Project Title: Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions
Project/Program Description: Teen Talk Dialogue sessions are a series of group sessions with youth
from high crime neighborhoods and City of Miami Police. The Goal is to improve relationship between
youth and Police through removing the blocks and barriers of communication and creating an environment
where both parties will feel comfortable getting to know each other and gaining a better appreciation for each other perspectives.
Program Start Date: January 1, 2020
Program End Date: June 1, 2020
Please describe how this program/project and funding will alleviate poverty within the City of
Miami?
Teen Talk sessions help to change the trajectory of at risk youth assisting them in making pro social life choices. Many of the youth after attending
the Teen Talk Sessions change there negative preconceived notions about police to more positive notions. In fact after meeting with he officers youth seem to be more
interested in becoming police officers or fire fighter as a professional career. Thc Change in trajectory provides an opportunity for the youth to become more productive citizens in Thc City of Miami.
IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE:
Describe overall expected outcomes and performance measures for this project/program:
1. Improved relationships between officers and youth in the City of Miami 2. Reduction in Criminal activity for
youth who attend sessions, 3. Assisting Officer with resolving cases in the community 4. Youth learning about careers as Civil servants in the
City of Miami 5. Students will be recruited from programs that operate in the city of Miami. Sign in sheets will be used to provide the accurate account of participants.
