The Ad Valorem Tax Exemption shall not include the windows on the front facade facing SW 9th Avenue. Vice Chair Lynn Lewis motioned to recommend denial of the application because the improvements which have been made to the property do not conform to the specific requirements of this Board when it dealt with two companion items on the same property, specifically HEPB-R-15-053 and HEPB-R-15-054. To be even more specific, what was approved in 2015 for this building and its Special Certificate of Appropriateness in conformity with the Standards of the Secretary of the Interior included retention of the windows, window openings and stucco of the arched window and arched door along the Southwest 9 Avenue facade.
